Back in the world of "Big"
Despues de dos meses en Colombia, I'm back in the world of big cars, big buldings, big meals... And I'm visiting a new state: FLORIDA.
I was hosted in part of my family (cousins of cousins of my grand-fa') who live in Cooper City (not far from Miami). There are coming from Spain, Cuba and Uruguay... so you guess they speak english and spanish (that makes crazy discussion during meals) haha !
My first experience in Florida was the celebration of Memorial day. It's was a big lesson of patriotism. In France, we are not at all patriotic (except for football world cup or those kind of big events). I think we have a problem with national symbols and identity. And unfortunatly, we let Marine Lepen seize of those symbols and todays its represent the over-feeling of french pride, reject of other identity and cultures: The Racism !
I think we should be pround of our national identity... and also all others that we are (locals, regionals, socials, culturals...). 'Cause nobody has one identity and in USA they understood this better than in France (in my point of view).
Marine Lepen thinks that's only french identity should exist in France and that's a big mistake ! What's to be french? Eat bread? drink wine? listen to Johnny Halliday? ...
It's valse question and we should think: "All different but all together !"
I also visited The Everglades state park that's represent miles of swamps with an amazing biodiverty and lot of "moustikos de puta madre !"
What a great experience with Daniel ! We did few miles in canoe in those swamps. We have met big bugs, pink giant birds, arrows fishes, turtules and... alligators !
It's fcking creepy to wake up a alligator who was spleeping in the bottow of the river !

As it was not enough, we decided to take a short cut with this heavy weather and then we 've been stuck in the mod for a mile. Exhausting !
But finally, we 've always find the way to the beach...
